Display Your Resume
Putting Your Resumes Online
San Diego STC has created this web page as a chapter benefit to its members to facilitate employment information exchange. This page is, in effect, an online version of the Employment Information booth at the STC Conference. Members of STC-SD can place their resumes online for review (and download) by contract agencies, temporary agencies, and other profit, nonprofit, private, and public companies and their representatives.
Policies
To ensure fairness to all parties, please be advised that these policies will be followed strictly:
- Only members of the STC-SD can have their resumes posted.
- Once a year, these pages will purged of STC-SD members who did not pay their STC renewal dues.
- If you transfer to another STC chapter, your resume and profile will be removed.
By posting your resume you have agreed that your resume is subject to perusal and download by employers, contract agencies, temporary agencies, and other profit, nonprofit, private, and public companies and their representatives. Further, the PDF might be subject to index by a search engine.
Note: Neither SD-STC nor STC makes any warranty, express or implied, or assumes any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the resume pages. See the Disclaimer for further information and limitations.
Procedure
- Create your resume.
- Create a copy of your resume in PDF format. Use a file naming convention that includes your first initial and last name, e.g., "resume_jsmith.pdf"
- For the resume index (see "Sample Text" below):
- Indicate how you want your name to appear (e.g., John Smith, John A. Smith, John Alan Smith, BA; and so on)
- Include a short profile paragraph of no more than 75 words
- Send the PDF, name information, and profile by email to webmaster [at] stc-sd.org.
