Definitions

Early Registration

Early Registration ends at 5pm on the Thursday prior to the meeting. To qualify for early registration, you need to complete the online registration form and submit it before 5pm.

Late or Walk-In

After the early registration deadline, registrants are charged an addittional $5 and are not guaranteed a name tag or paypal receipt. Name tags and receipts are generated the night before a meeting.

Chapter Member

A Chapter Member is an STC member who also joined the San Diego Chapter when they joined STC. To qualify for the Chapter Member rate, you must be a member (with a membership card) at the time of the meeting.

Chapter Member (unemployed)

A Chapter Member (unemployed) meets all Chapter Member requirements, and is also unemployed at the time of the meeting. Unemployed means you do not have a job at the time of the meeting, regardless of whether or not you are working in the communication field. Temporary paid employment is considered employment.

STC Member

An STC Member is a member of STC who did not join the San Diego Chapter when they joined STC. To qualify for the STC Member rate, you must be a member (with a membership card) at the time of the meeting.

STC Member (unemployed)

An STC Member (unemployed) meets all STC Member requirements, and is also unemployed at the time of the meeting. Unemployed means you do not have a job at the time of the meeting, regardless of whether or not you are working in the communication field. Temporary paid employment is considered employment.

Non-member

A non-member is not a member of STC.

Non-member (unemployed)

A non-member (unemployed)  is unemployed at the time of the meeting. Unemployed means you do not have a job at the time of the meeting, regardless of whether or not you are working in the communication field. Temporary paid employment is considered employment.

Student

A student is a full-time student at an elementary school, secondary school, vocational school, college, or university. Students should provide a current student ID or other form of identification.

Presentation Only

Presentation only indicates that you do not have dinner. You are welcome to join the rest of the group and socialize, and coffee, tea, and decaf are included with the meeting.
