About the Presenter
Walter Hanig is responsible for Professional Development for the San Diego chapter of the Society for Technical Communication. He previously served the chapter as Treasurer and President. Before his semi-retirement in 2012, he was a technical writer, tech comm. manager, and information architect for 19 years. And before that, software designer, project manager, and program manager. His first programming language was FORTRAN II, which he learning in the early 1960s!
