I'm pleased to announce our new council for 2002-2003.
Chapter
President, Walter Hanig
Walter is a technical publication manager at Ericsson and has been a council
member since 1998, serving as VP Finance.
VP-Membership,
Simrita Dhir
Simrita is currently a technical writer at GERS and a graduate of the
SDSU Technical and Scientific Writing Certificate Program.
VP-Finance,
Lance-Robert
Lance-Robert is currently a senior information engineer at the Network
Equipment Division of Intel Corporation in San Diego. He has been one
of the pleasant people who take your money at the monthly chapter meeting.
VP-Professional
Development, Audrey Johns
Audrey is a senior technical writer and editor at Omnigon Technologies-a
bioinformatics company (www.omnigon.com). She develops training materials
for new hires and potential customers.
VP-Programs,
Elaine Tsang
Elaine is a staffing manager at Technical Standards, Inc. She has served
as VP Membership and will continue in her current position as VP Programs.
VP-Employment,
Ken Wilson
Ken is a self-employed technical writer based in Carlsbad. He recently
transferred from the East Bay Chapter where he served as employment manager.
Newsletter
Co-Editors, Lana Walker-Helmuth
and Sharon Bradshaw
Both Lana
and Sharon have been active contributors to the newsletter. Sharon writes
the meeting review, and Lana writes the Introductions column to
showcase chapter members. Both have extensive desktop publishing experience.

Web Site Manager, Suzie Hosie
Suzy will be continuing in her position as Web site manager. She has served
as VP-Professional Development and president in addition to running her
own business, Write on the Edge, in Vista.
