Thinking Positive
By Lana Walker-Helmuth, Managing Editor

Author Bio

"Attitudes are more important than facts."

How about them Angels? My congratulations to all the loyal fans that have been with the Anaheim Angels through thick and thin.

And how about them Chargers? My husband is dancing in the streets after every blessed win.

There sure is a lot of good news lately. Our October Poll, aimed at unemployed members, had only 15 takers. I was one of those (at the time unemployed for six months), but I'm happy to report that I'm working again. The local economy does seem to be gaining some steam.

Another positive trend is our chapter meeting attendance. We had 61 attendees for September and 70 for October. Be sure to read the October meeting review, which provides a detailed summary of the excellent presentation on usability.

I'd like to think our readers are devouring each and every article, so I won't comment on the other articles. Just be assured that we have another great issue filled with news, exhortations, advice, tips, humor—and even some views that you may disagree with. As always, you are welcome to send in your comments to the editor at stcsignature@yahoo.com or contact the authors.

Happy reading!
