About the Event
We have been talking about and working with structured content for more than two decades. In the tech writing community, the benefits of structured content and component content management systems are well known – they generally makes writers’ lives easier by making content reusable and easier to manage, translate and publish. However, getting the managerial buy-in is difficult and at times impossible because “it’s not their problem.” The trick is to make it their problem by steering clear of old gimmicks like reuse, team productivity and translation cost savings and instead turning the discussion toward organizational information flow.
