Join STC-SD for our May 13th presentation when Scott Abel talks about his new book — The Language of Content Strategy — a crowd-sourced, multichannel publishing project — a book that argues for the need for a common vocabulary among content professionals.
Scott’s book, published by XMLPress, has 51 contributors. The content was created in an XML wiki and then published multi-channel to print (XML in InDesign), to the web (WordPress), and to paper and eBooks, along with other deliverables from a single source. It’s a great example of taking the lessons from tech comm and applying them elsewhere.
Scott will bring copies of his book and vocabulary cards as door prizes, along with a conference ticket to his Information Development World conference Oct. 22-24 in San Jose.
